Fabulous house - very comfy beds, good supply of essentials. Ostrich Inn - excellent, would highly recommend. Clearwell Caves - very interesting - take a fleece as it is very cold inside - lovely cafe at the end. Pedalabikeaway Forest of Dean - fabulous cycle trails for family and good for more adventurous too. Symonds Yat - walked down to river, harder going up, well worth it for views and Saracen's Head at bottom.

We have had a lovely week in the Forest of Dean - we especially enjoyed the long cycle rides and canoeing down the River Wye. Nice lunches at Symonds Yat. Lovely walks around the Sculpture Trail and other parts of the Forest.

The house is very comfortable and we have all enjoyed staying here. Lovely walk along the valley down Savage Hill. We had cycle rides and walks in the Forest and learned how to start a fire with fungus. A lovely place to stay.
